just a simple change of the light, and it looks so much more clean
honestly if it wasnt for the diys and post, i would have never known about these.

no dark or hot spots
looks like it but its the camera

Can you link me to the lights you bought?... LED's right? I wana do the same thing... also I wonder how it will turn out if I put LED's on top instead of just truning them off (or maybe UV?) .. it really bothers me taht you cant see the needle at night.

greekpower was apparently working on a way to put prelude needles on, but honestly i wouldnt try it. you put too much pressure on the needles and they'll never work again, then you gotta fork up $$ for a new cluster. not worth it IMO unless you know what ur doing

I've installed the same bulbs in my cluster and at first I wasn't too impressed. But I've since realized that if I install the red prelude & civic needles I bought and also sanded off the green tint from the back of the gauge faces, then it will look really hot (ala Volk and Keith).

I just don't know when I'll get up the courage (and find the time) to finally do it. I also worry that I might create hotspotting by removing the shaded areas at the back of the gauge face when I sand off the tint.

did you just paint the needles light blue? they look great! way better than i would have imagined... probably only works with the white bulbs, i bet blue needles and any other color bulb would look ugly. nice taste
