Next time any of you GM owners happen to be at the dealer, ask for a price on P/N 12465378.

I was browsing the AC-Delco site for some Chevy parts and I was shocked to find a part number for a remanufactured 2.7 long block.

$4000 - maybe a couple hundred more. (just happens my wife works for an AC Delco WD). $240 core charge.

No engine in my future......not for a while, anyway. At least I now know where to get one.
