mm odd i dont belive i can help u but i have odd problem with mine too i now have to be 10 feet from my car for it to work or lock and unlock the doors or panic i used to be ablt to be far away from it do i nee a new batt or take it to the stealership

 

Hmm Mine has always been around 10 ft from the car. I did experience the not locking well when pressing the button, try resetting your unit by disconnecting the harness for like 10 min. I noticed when i took apart my dash and had the unit dosconnected helped for some odd reason., Good luck --=Keith

When I got my Legend 3 years ago, it came with the factory system with two remotes. One of the remotes worked really far away, it would go through brick buildings, and everything, then that remote started to act, just one day, it died. I had new bats put in it, and it has hardly worked sense. The other remote still works, put only like you all 10ft away. I dont understand. The one remote use to work really well from a long ways, and it went crazy. Acura wants way too much for a new remote, so I am stuck with being 10ft away
