Replace Air Intake

I plan to replace my air intake with a kit from Ebay. One question?

Will this increase my engine noise? And will my performance increase a little?

I haven't installed one on my Legend but when I put one in my GTP, I could hear more of a roar when I layed into the gas pedal. But it was a nice sound. If I was just crusing along, I couldn't tell the difference fom stock.

As for performance, the car felt a little stronger.

Yes on the engine noise, yes on the little bit of horsepower.

It's like a growl coming from under the hood. it's not bad. You won't notice it after about 2 weeks
