I'm working on replacing my positive battery terminal. I have already picked up a terminal with adequate connections & an internal fuse for the stereo. I plan on running a 1/0 wire from the terminal to a power distribution block that will connect to the alternator and the power wire that feeds back to the car. I understand that it is best to upgrade the alternator wire to 2 ga at least. The problem I am having is figuring out what size the other wire is prior to taking everything apart. I need to know this to be sure I get the correct distribution block before taking everything apart.

Does anyone know what size the wire connected to the positive battery terminal but doesn't go to the alternator is?
