I don't have a pic, but I have the McCullochs 6000k HID kit on my coupe in Japan and they are pretty blue...kind of a aqua blue color.

I think they appear purple because of the one-piecers. SoFresh&SoClean has jdms with 6000k and his lights were purple when they are fully warmed up.

I dunno why yours like they do. Your bulbs resemble the color from the stock D2R bulbs. Mine were just blue.

Kinda. They are close, but the a lot of times the camera that pics are taken with and the optics of the particular headlight can change the color a bit. I say go for 6000k, then if you don't like them sell the bulbs and get 5300k.
