I was wondering if there is a way to rewire the bumper signals to a switch to turn them into foglights. I recently added a side marker turnsignal, and also blue tinted my cleared out bumper signals, was hoping to rewire them to make them just lights is that possible?

It is possible, Legend Tuner has directions on doing this. However, you do have to be carefull about melting the plastic casing from having the bulb on constantly.

I have wired my bumper lights as fogs. Indicators flash at 2x speed which I am going to add sidemarkers to fix. With the stock bulbs in the bumper signals the effect is pretty much cosmetic - they look bright but dont cast much illumination. I've been running the stock bulbs now for about a month with several long trips of 4+ hours and theres no signs of melting the harness - fingers crossed. I'm not game to go higher wattage bulbs as you need to ventilate the reflectors and this causes leaks.

I highly recommend polishing these bumper lenses as they are close to the road and get a bit of punishment. I followed the headlight polishing (offtopic forum?) howto and they look brand new and much more 'reflector lens' looking. I posted pics a while back -

I hard wired it in but it was pretty easy with crimp on and spade connectors meaning there was no soldering.

Highly recommend this as the car looks great with bumper lamps.
