with aftermarket rims if you really wanted to do that, i think instead of the "ACURA" that is on the factory rims, it would look better with the Acura "A" Emblem. You can find those kinds of things almost for sure on Ebay.
Hey Roger,

Got a deal for you. I purchased some 'A' emblems for my aftermarket wheels but decided not to use them - they are just sitting here. They are black w/ Gold 'A' inside a gold circle - like our grill emblem - nice!!

Walk me through the OEM fog install and I will send them to you n/c.

I PM'ed you my cell # & additional info.
Roger

For some reason both of my 14 pin connectors are green. In the area where the fog harness plugs in I have like 3-4 smaller connectors on the left and 2 - 14 pin connectors on the right.

Is your setup the same? Or do you have more than 2 - 14pin connectors.

1-- If so did you plug into the 14 pin connector on the far right (closest to the steering wheel) or the second one in from the right. (next to the smaller connectors)

Note: The connection to the far right has a green male & female.

The second one in has a green male and a gray female.

2-- I found a 1 pin receptor but not under the foot rest - it is on the door side of the fuse box. I think this is the wrong one.

What was the wire color behind the one pin connector that you finally plugged into that worked.

Please check your wiring to be sure

Answer those questions and the emblems are yours!!

Double Legend,

Oddly enough, I didn't plug mine into a green connector, but a blue one. I looked at the diagram in the instructions, and it pointed to the blue connector (based on supposed location).
you connect it to the second 14 pin connector the second one in from the steering wheel, and that connector thats hanging there by the fuse box i do have for the longest time i thought that was the one i was supposed to use but the right one is under that bunch of wires back there just dig deep stick your hand down the and pull that bunch of wires and eventually you'll find it...im gonna do the mod so my fogs work without my healights so illl take a pic or the area for u.
Roger, LegendGS,

Thanks for your help- I have not found the 1 pin connector yet but I'm about to cut all the bundles of wire in the area to find where its hiding.

Roger - if you want the Rim emblems - PM me your mailing address.

Also the wire leading to the 1 pin connector does it lead from the top - down below -- where?????

If I cant find it I'll wait for your mod.
I just went in to my car to look for that 1-pin connector. You should find it towards the back (i.e. away from the door), and bottom of the kick panel area. It has a blue wire with red stripe similar to the wire from your fog light harness that plugs into it.

Thanks Thanks - GS.

I will look right now. I'm on the east coast so its dark here already. Car is inside but my garage does not have the best light for under dash work.

I'll keep you posted!!
GS - I dont see it!!!

Heres the deal - I have 3 large harnesses in the area - The largest leads down and towards the back of the car.

The next comes directly out of the fuse pannel - just below a series of blue connectors.

And the last is furthest forward - forward of the fuse box and leads from above.

I traced the blue/red wires in each of these harnesses and they all go into larger connectors.

Is my target taped into a harness or a sole wire w/connector taped to a harness?????

As I remember it, it isn't taped to anything. It's just a single wire running into a single brown connector. The wire seems to run from behind the fuse panel and isn't very long. It seems to be just long enough to pull and connect to the fog harness.
hold everything - i see some blue tape in the far lower corner.

it is actually on the far side lower side of the gray fuse pannel - cant see any wires - just a little corner of blue tape sticking out -- bet thats it -- gotta get my needle nose -- keeep you posted
Hehehe.... Sounds like an episode of Mission Impossible to me. :D

DDDDDAAAAAAMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found it. It wasn't deep. Its deep as s#!T.

I stil havent gotten to it yet - but I can feel the shape of the connector.

DDDDDDAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Loads - GS
No problem. :) Just give us a final once you have it plugged in. :)
Still having a problem.

As soon as I connected 1 pin - the green light was on. When I depress the switch the green light gets brighter. When I cut on headlights - no fogs

With 15A fuse pulled - when I hit switch - my headlights come on????

Maybe used the wrong 14 pin connector.

Any thoughts????

Letting it rest for the night.

Peace
