BIG PROPS to Cody and his Boy and all others who helped me install the RM at the meet on Sat.

Preformance wise from stock=

Man over 60mph the RM kicks in hard! Acceleration no prob...
80-100mph is redicolus.. 2-3 sec. tops....

Low end power when on a flat surface w/o an inclne I see preformance increase...

Overall: Great improvement over stock....

I dont know how the other intakes compare but if all intakes for the Legend are the same then GET A INTAKE!

BTW, my rpm's have increased w/ ythe addition of the Intake...
@ 80 mph i'm running 3500rpms and at 90 mph i'm running 4000 rpms... Any problems w/ this?

Also, my sterring wheel vibrates (like a vibrator) @ 60 mph what could cause this?

Nice to hear about your intake. I have a Weapon-R Dragon "hot air" intake and I also noticed a difference in "power." (not to mention the awesome roar)

Your vibration is more than likely (80%) a wheel balance or bent wheel problem. Maybe a bit of both. If you go 19+" then you might have bent wheels AND a bad balance... Every few months I have to have my wheels rebalanced and adjusted due to slight bends and such. Shouldn't cost much, maybe $8 a wheel. Most of the vibration you feel comes from the front tires, but I would also check the rears.

i know what your talking about 80-100 and 60-90 are crazy nice. i can out run many cars who dont know what they are next to. this civic was trying to go on me one day. i did a little bit of a quick start nothing tire shredding but this guy was winding his engine out trying to stay with me, at about 70 i rolled into the throttle hard.....WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOhhhhhhhhWWWWWWOOOOOO he turned into a little gnat in my rear veiw. it was halarious. was doing 110mph before i knew it.

Man and for me the same! Anything over 80mph is gravy! I'm scared i'll crash so I slow down ....But ill see after I get my Coupe slammed and on 18 inch shoes...

Now I really want the Chip and the REMUS!

Thai.95LCoupe - kind of testing the water with this chip statment because I know there must be a few on the forum who were slighted - but I happen to NOT be one of them. SO THE CHIP IS THE ABSOLUTE SHE~ITE! I did have another Legend owner pull up next to me and asked if I'd run him. Normally, I wouldn't do this but agreed to line up for 1 light. So we got onto the parkway and I told him I'm chip'd w/ intake and exhaust and he said - but I've got a 6 speed. Well, I didn't bother telling him I have 6 speed and just let her rip. Our shift points were different and he coudn't figure out what happened.

As far as the remus - the sound is addicting.

I know 3 people, excluding myself who have the chip actually installed and we coudn't be happier.

I believe there was a shadow cast upon Performance Products, LLC over the Bayou Performance Stage II chip because of the fact that 2 (or more) members shipped their ECUs off and received bad ECUs. So you might hear things from they absolutely suck to the are the best. Either way, back when the BAYOU chip was a DINAN no one complained (probably cause they didn't get ripped) - BUT the technology is the same.

I will say this... Everyone on the GB for the Chip knows exactly why we received a price break - plain and simple - it was because of QTY - well, when push came to shove alot of the I'M INz became I'M out of cash - which in itself doesn't make them a bad person - it just makes a vendor upset because they gave us Legend owners a deal based upon collective interest.

HOWEVER, for those of us who have the chip, we all seem to have been quiet. Now this may be because the fact that we didn't get ripped really does not help those who did get ripped - all I know is I haven't heard one complaint and I would like to know who you are talking to?

I got it a couple of months ago, and the seat-of-the-pants performance boost is there for sure. I like it! It definitly feels nice when you hit about 4500rpm.

I got the chip a few years ago long before all this nonsense with the bad ECUs. Back then I wrote how I liked the chip, and others said I was the only one who felt that way. It's unfortunate that people have had bad experiences with the chip since then.

E K - thanks for stepping up. My interest in the chip came from the old forum and well, like I said (in so many words)... "I'm happy like a pig in she~ite!" I could say more about the GB with PPP but perhaps that should be left for another day.

I know of more than a couple of people that got bad chips from that deal, but that is a different story, and I personally believe the batch of chips they used could have been bad batch before they programed it from the get go. That would explain why some people have no problems and others had all sorts of problems.

But anyway, what ever happend to that idea that someone wated to burn the specs of the Bayou/Dinan chip himself on blank chips? I know it is posible and other people have done it themselves for other chips on other cars. I know it is sort of ilegal, or shaddy, but I burn CD's from the original, so........

ChrisK, I hear you and believe that both you and I can speculate a WIDE variety of scenarios that could have occured.

I remember reading that post and I believe the person was looking for a donor bayou chip and well - NOW that could be a 400 mistake just waiting to happen. Feel me.
