Roar is getting a lot of press about its cold air induction system for BMWs. They are doing the research and development for a new system for the Honda S2000. I offered them mine as a test bed but they have a more local candidate. Exchanged e mails with them and suggested that a nice CAI with demonstrated HP/torque gains would be well received by the Legend community. I know I'm always looking for an additional 15 HP.

For a real Horsepower Increase though I would be willing to pay a lot more. Most of the stuff out there right now for us is pretty week. If we could get like a real 15hp increase I would be all over it.

15 from an intake though.....I dont believe it.I think 200 is alot imho for an intake and these will be more. Nice piece though

I agree, 15 HP is a lot from an intake. Folks are getting as much as 9 RWHP (net) from intakes on S2000s. The Legend does have a restrictive intake system designed primarily for sound suppression. A perfectly designed intake benefiting from harmonic ram effect might just be able to get an additional 15 HP. The dyno will tell. If ROAR or any other manufacturer can make an intake which nets 15 HP at the front wheels, I'll pony up a few bucks for that in a heart beat!

I am in, if they get it ready soon. I am already looking at custom intakes, so only their timing will tell, but for just over $200. I don't have a problem as long as it is a true external cold air intake. I havn't checked them out yet, but it does sound good.
