I agree with jno2968326 ...as a matter of fact I put a master cylinder from an 88L coupe (w/ABS) into my 90LS sedan (w/ABS) this past summer. I checked out using a non-ABS master cylinder, and it was DEFINITELY not a match.
By the way ....when you swap master cylinders (or put a new one in) be sure to adjust the push-rod properly ...to the point where there is NO pressure on the push-rod when you re-install the master cylinder. If there is any pressure at all, you will have trouble with the brakes constantly building up pressure and applying it to the wheels.
