Good post. I've been thinking about this as well. I'm worried about the small chips around the front bumper and how it would look compared to the new paint.

I bought a compressor with spray gun, then went to a paint shop to match the color. Bought some paint by Krylon that work on plastic. Took all the pieces off and painted it in my garage. Came out great for just under 400 bucks (this is including compressor and gun mind you).

Well worth it. My two cents.

Compressor set was like 280 so 120 for the job really; and I have tons of paint left for other parts (northern car wheel well rust for instance).

Hey, PJ! What up?
not much, just trying to get the car back on the road. It's been one problem after another. After that paint and finish all of the CF projects I started on (hood, fenders, dash, console) Not enough time in the day, and not enough space at my apartment. Trying to get a shop so I can do this stuff full time.

one,
i was thinking about doing this. first off, what kind of gun is it? and do you feel confident enough to paint an entire car? cause you could pick up some side change
