So Paranoid after BHG Repair!

I am so paranoid(sp) that I am constantly looking at the temperature gage of any car I drive now.

As of today, I have driven her around the block w/o any problem. Got up to 35 MPH. The engine sounds a lot quiet. Acceleration is very smooth. I am still afraid to get onto the highway. Maybe sometime over the break when traffic is light. The only issue I have now is heater is not blowing as hot anymore. Maybe it takes some time for the coolant to circulate?

Nope, just runs cooler because you dont have a BHG.

Thanks for reassuring Fry Boy. I drove for 15 min. on the highway(couldn't wait like I said), bled the coolant, drove another 15 min. and bled the cooland again.

I thought about driving for a few days with 10/30 regular oil than switch to Mobile-1 Full Synthentic. Any thought or comment?

where is the temp guage at when it is at normal running.

if everything was done correctly all should be ok, just take care of the cooling system and it probably wont happen again
