Hello All:
I have a running, 1989 Bahama Gold Acura Legend L Coupe with just over 100K miles. I bought it as a parts car to remove the leather interior and the ABS system to put into another 1989 Legend Coupe I am restoring. I have since been advised by the master tech at my local Acura dealership that a switch-over wouldn't be reliable and would fail again over time. After owning the car since February of 2020, I have driven it enough to know that it's reliable and doesn't deserve to be parted out. It needs a few things repaired/replaced to be a comfortable driver (muffler, a/c recharge, etc.) and the paint and some of the plastic trim is sun-damaged. It now has the velour interior from my low-mileage '89. I bought the car on eBay for $4800, but am not expecting to break even on this one. I just thought I would let you guys have first crack at it before I list it on Facebook or eBay.
If anyone has an interest in owning the car, please let me know. I can provide pictures and a brief ownership history of the car. I live in central Florida and drove the car here from Rhode Island where I purchased it, so I know it can travel long distances.
