The reason why you feel a bit in a quarry about the deal is because you're only 18 years old. If you have something for sale, you instantly become a "business man" which means..."money talks and bs walks". The money talked and you sold the car. The bullshit walked and he doesn't have the car. Simple. You can't get emotional (i.e. texting, returning calls, being overly friendly, apologizing, etc) because people will take advantage of you.

Nice stack!!!:)

Man, fuck em!

The only reason I have such harsh feelings towards these type of guys is because I post cars for sale (only legends) on craigslist which bombards my cellphone with idiotic perspective buyers. It drives me insane dealing with people who are interested in the car, but don't have the money. I've never sold a car (3 total this month) to anyone who did not immediately schedule a visit.

A true buyer will do the following:
a. CAll to schedule a visit
b. test drive/look over/carfax
c. ask questions/view clean title
d. negotiate
e. Provide purchase date/leave deposit
f. Buy

If the caller is asking a lot of questions, he's not really interested. A true buyer will want to immediately see the vehicle and will ask all necessary questions onsite.

Very smart to make it rain in your room.
