fuck it money talks bulslhit walks if he was serious or if was me i would have gave a deposit, I once had to drive at 12PM 100 miles to give a deposit once i was on my way the seller felt i was serious enough and 20 mins into the trip called me and said we will just finish the deal tommorow and I did deposits are a must if you want the car and its a good deal
dont feel bad i would have done the same thing without a deposit or a final sale
