oh yes, you are right...

but seriously....those go for $4,500 in GOOD condition...

I've had two of them....

Maybe that's why no bids....
This one is modded though, if it does have everything it says it does, then it might worth a bit more. But $16k is push it a little

I'll say this... it's clean looking.

It's hard to say what it's worth though... it's hard to see that 40k investment. I'd be a little less skeptical if he added a supercharger or a single or twin turbo instead of NOS.

I guess it's worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay.

high price must be because it's a "second generation" CRX??? Why would anyone here care about a CRX unless it had G2girl possing next to it?:p

I used to have a CRX and I was into the small "crx" scene, and I know for a fact that NOBODY could get that much for that car. The only CRX that I've seen sold for a helluva lot of money was this one with Lamborghini doors, a B18C turbo, totally custom race interior, etc. It went for $32,000 on ebay. THere was over $100k invested in it. The doors themselves costed about $30k each to install because the guy had to hire an aerospace company to R&D the design and then custom build the parts to implement it. crazy stuff.

but yeah. $15,000 or whatever for a CRX with a body kit and nitrous, no thanks. :D

Seriously, ***. If I wanted a CRX for that kind of money I would go out and buy a ****ty one. Repaint it, redo the interior, throw in a H22 w/ turbo, new suspension, new wheels, and nitrous, with a little engine work. It's all doable for that kind of money. Plus I would want to be able to say that I did it. I think its pretty lame to buy a car that somebody else modded. How could you ever know exactly what was done to it, and I like to know my babies inside and out.

It doesn't even matter how much money the guy put into it. You don't get that back when you sell the car. I lost $7000 on my lowrider mini-truck when I sold it. That's just the way it works. If anything those mods made it much more difficult to sell. I eventually sold it to a high-school kid who totalled it after two weeks. He got a DUI and put a lady in the hospital. Only 16. Punk. But anyways, a car is only worth what you are willing to pay for it. Bottom line, I'd rather do it myslef.

BTW, a dry manifold NOS kit runs $600 pYmpdaddi. The wet kit multi-port injection kit he's running costs substantially more. I just finished installing my kit today!
