Denso Iridium plugs have been known to add a performance edge. Check around on the boards to see who has them, I think there was a problem with them being too hot? Your best bet would probably be to stick with NGK copper plugs (bcpr6e11 haha i have it memorized), and get some performance wires.
I found a set of Denso Iridium on ebay and got them for $70. They seem really high quality and the electrode is like a black needle...weird.... They also do seem to add to the acceleration. I had changed the (original ca. 1988) wires to NGK's from NOPI and replaced the distributer cam and rotor. I put the plugs in last, and there was a performance boost. I like them because they are supposed to have a really long life, and won't need messing with for quite a while.
