People, I've been looking into brake lines and have discovered something interesting.
Facts:
87-88 coupe lines are the same as the 86-88 sedan
89-90 coupe lines are the same as the 89-90 sedan
This is info I got from the dealership verifying the identical part numbers.
History:
I've been looking into an alternative to Stillen lines (jsut for kicks). Goodridge makes them for the G1's (& G2's). I found an online dealer Lightning Motorsports that can order them. I called them to verify their stock #'s. They verified their listing them on their site, but could not verify them from their Goodridge book.
I then called Goodridge and was informed the the stock #'s listed on Lightnings site were their stock #'s, but that the 20071 and 20072 numbers were not valid (86-87 sedan and 88 sedan).
That's when I called the dealer.
Conclusion:
For those of us with sedans (particularly '88), that seem to have a little harder time locating parts, the alternative is that we can buy the coupe lines.
Hope this helps....
Does anyone have the GOodrigde lines? I'd be interested in knowing how they perform. From what I hear they are prtty good. Coments? Bueler? Bueler?
