This my Legend 94 LS 6 spd with two coatings of VEIL next to the ultrafast 93 sedan of uPnoRthACme with one coat still drying.

Notice the flash camera has a hard time reading the license number of the car on the left. I think that this is because the angle is slightly off on the left plate whereas the right car is straight on. So photo radar MAY have a hard time picking up the plate.

BTW uPnoRthACme's ride is VERY fast. Do not doubt his times, and they will get faster.

The pictures are lousy because of twilight but I thought they were of interest to show that uPnoRthACme's ride does exist and that passive countermeasures may actually seem to maybe work maybe. Time will tell.

Here is a better idea.....Don't do anything stupid while driving.
Naw, man, he's already explained that it's not him it's them, and this will just "level the playing field".

I see four headlights and two grills. Not even worth posting.
you need a better monitor. i see 2 cars, very clearly, and the purpose of the thread was the license plates. they stand out as much as the headlights so i dont see a problem with the pictures even on your crappy monitor...

:headscrati dont understand. i dont hate him, but if he is complaining about pictures when i see them just fine on my Xflat by KDS (that i found in the trash), then he should be able to see them on whatever he went out and bought.

:giggle: Yes, I forgot-all cops are out to get you.

Crazy idea-don't break the fuckin law.
To me passive countermeasures are like seatbelts and airbags, don't drive without them.

I keep the LS as stock looking as possible since it is my daily driver. If the speed limit is 35 why can't I safely take the corner at 35?

I get pulled over in my NSX no matter what speed I am going.

If it's a local cop they just want to hassle me - envy or ? Staties usually want to talk about the Vette they have. It's on the third engine because their brother in law installed a SC and set the boost to 25 lbs and the engine grenaded - true story.

Last week I saw a friend with a AM DB9 get pulled over at 40 mph in a line of cars going 40 mph in a 45 zone. No ticket, just hassle.

Cops are out profiling anything that isn't a van. These are filled with either mom/kids or illegal aliens and the cops just don't want to deal with either.

I asked them why they don't ticket people on cell phones, it's illegal to talk without a hands free kit in NH. But they can't because "everyone does it. We'd have to pull everyone over."

Your move....

Peace,
Ivanj

I overstated a point to make one...sorry. Hyperbole. For your benefit, I shall explain.

I meant that the "authorities" seem to be attracted to anything that has a Greddy on it (not I) or is exotic. Sometimes it is warranted (lots of the ricers seem to have dangling parts), sometimes, problematic, as in the case of the AM.

Unfortunately my world is filled with more than the occasional person weaving in the left lane at 75 because they are dialing their cell phone. In the winter I'm going 45 on a 65 limit highway in my 4x4 Toyota with 4 studded snow tires because it is nasty slushy/icy. Some clown(ess) in a Range Rover passes me at 60. A mile down the road where the curves start I see the brakes come on doing the side to side bop. When I approach here sits the Rover wrapped up against the guard rail after the first turn.

Take an Advanced Safety driving course. Drive within your limits, within environmental constraints, always. Don't speed.

I never inhaled. Can't we just get along?
