I overstated a point to make one...sorry. Hyperbole. For your benefit, I shall explain.

I meant that the "authorities" seem to be attracted to anything that has a Greddy on it (not I) or is exotic. Sometimes it is warranted (lots of the ricers seem to have dangling parts), sometimes, problematic, as in the case of the AM.

Unfortunately my world is filled with more than the occasional person weaving in the left lane at 75 because they are dialing their cell phone. In the winter I'm going 45 on a 65 limit highway in my 4x4 Toyota with 4 studded snow tires because it is nasty slushy/icy. Some clown(ess) in a Range Rover passes me at 60. A mile down the road where the curves start I see the brakes come on doing the side to side bop. When I approach here sits the Rover wrapped up against the guard rail after the first turn.

Take an Advanced Safety driving course. Drive within your limits, within environmental constraints, always. Don't speed.

I never inhaled. Can't we just get along?
Believe me, I get what you are saying. I disagree with you though. We can agree to disagree. We can go back and forth forever.

Ivanj, maybe you actually are a "safe" driver who "knows" what you're doing. Part of my problem with your espousing "counter-measures" is that some kid may come along and see you make a post about making your car stealthy to photo radar, to radar and Laser...and then he goes out and buys this crap and puts it on his ride and goes out and drives like an effing idiot. Maybe he runs a red-light and kills someone, because he thought he was immune to photo radar.

I know I'm being a little paranoid, but as you state, there are morons everywhere who overdrive the ability of their cars...and overdrive their abilities. So, that's where I'm coming from.

:giggle: Yes, I forgot-all cops are out to get you.

Crazy idea-don't break the fuckin law.
That's funny you saying this, just reminded me of that Jim Carry, liar, liar movie. When, one of his clients called, and he picks up the phone and shouts "STOP BREAKING THE LAW ASSHOLE!"

Ivanj, Can you snap a pic during the day time to see if the camera will pick up the plate numbers during the day?

I love that scene!!!

Oh-FYI: Camera flash and Sunshine can totally block out a license plate depending on how a pic is taken.

Please don't report me

License plate clearly visible. Sorry about the reflections.

You'll notice how the Koni Sport Kit tastefully lowers the car. After 5k miles, the ride comfort improves, set to the KONI recommended shock position and firmness settings. Alignment is well within factory specs (zero toe in front ONLY) with no need for camber kits, etc. Nice for a sporty daily driver.

Thanks,
Ivanj

I don't really want to get into this silly debate, but I have a black friend who is pulled over constantly in town for obeying the law all the time. The law is loosely written and enforced by human beings who are subject to moods, prejudice, envy, preconceptions, etc. It is highly naive to assume that just by staying above the law you are somehow keeping out of trouble. Just look at the kid who dropped his iPod in the toilet on a jetliner and then was interrogated for hours, had his personal life probed, and had his laptop searched for "hate speech". It is obvious that most of you have little knowledge of current events or the changes in government policies which have occured most noteably since 9/11.

Anyhow, for the more challenged people on this board:
