I have a UK spec coupe which has no Steering Wheel Audio Control Unit :(

Since learnt that the wiring is there at the steering wheel where there is a 2 wire plug connected to nothing. I have now picked up a JDM steering wheel control unit and need to hook it up. (Thats the volume up & down and forward switch unit)

I have read on a German forum that you can trace those those wires through the cable reel but I cant get a good enough translation to understand it fully and I'm not keen to try as it involves air bag connections etc from what I've managed to decipher.

I don't know where those two wires end up but its sure as hell not in my radio wiring harness.

My question is can I just run wire from the wheel to an after market remote adapter (eg PAC unit) then into my Pioneer head unit. I've read that the after market remote adapter needs only one wire.

So where does the other wire need to go, if at all anywhere? Positive ?
