Welcome to the forum, it may just be the switch. Try testing the motors first. (use a paper clip.)
Steering Wheel
I have a 2004 Acura 3.5 RL. The steering wheel will not go up and down but it will go in and out (it's a telescopic wteering wheel) and I need help! Does anyone know how to fix it? Thank You, Lori:wtf:

That's one of the weaknesses of the RL series of Acura's. If the gears are stripped out, it is not an easy DIY to fix. And I've heard a new replacement is close to $2,000.
