Well guys, after finally getting my bar back from Leon I installed it today...however the bar seems to be too long!!! I have the same exact bar that Cody and Patrick have, but mine just seems to long. I bent the brackets straight and added 3 washers under the bold nearest the engine and all looked great, until I lined the bar up. I made the bar the shortest it would go, but it is still about .75" to long to fit in. I attempted to bend the brackets back out towards the fender to make the bar fit, but they wouldn't budge much. I'm curious if I got a whack bar that was not cut short enough. Anyone else have this problem? Would anyone mind measuring their bar so I can compare the legnth to mine, thanks!!!

Hey Doug, that's weird, I had the exact same problem. I had to cut mine down about 1"...hence the reason I am getting us custom Legend ones made

How much did this run? How did you cut it? ****, hopes it not much cause I already had to spend $8 on new bolts for it....

I'll get you the lucci for the bolts...

check with Patrick. He showed me how to install it. I cut the eye bolts in half and placed two washers underneath each bracket and it fits fine. Place the bar onto the brackets and then bolt down the brackets.

Doug, I had to do mine @ KMS.

Over an inch on each side...we will get you squared away. I thought it was maybe a sedan vs coupe thing, since Patrick's fit with no prob, guess not.

Peeta01, I dont think anyone makes a rear strut bar and plus the rear strut mounts are intergrated with the rear hat shelf. If you remove your rear speakers you'll see what I'm talking about.

ATLimaging, I'm sorry I don't have any pics at the moment. By the way the cross section of my strut bar is a flat oval.
