sorry.. btw how much did you pay for this setup... i dont think i saw the price anywhere.
hah no big deal
I dont care you guys can continue your discussion

I just was wondering if anyone noticed
lol

it was $79.99 from pepboys reg. price is $99.99

includes sub, amp, wires, etc..
+$10.80 because my friend who installed it(who has JL's) bought me better wire to make it louder apparently. I'm new at this but after helping I think I would now be able to help other people wire a sub through a stock radio

See... wiring it in isn't so bad after all. It's easier to tap the stock line levels then it is to run new signal cables from the head unit because running new cabling requires more disassembly (you don't want to run the signal on the same side of the car as the power as the power may induce current into the signal wire and create all sorts of annoying noises so suddenly you have both sides of the car ripped apart).

Rock those 10s a while and let us know when you're ready for more... it'll come at a cost of course (I paid 10x what you paid for my first setup + new rear speakers but I probably overpaid) but it'll go a long ways!

omg....

that can't sound good

here is my set up..

^nice set up... where do you keep your spair?

I was in best buy today and they had the dual 10' inclosed woofers, they sounded pretty nice... Better then the Rocford FG they had, But the fosgates were pretty done, they were rattling and everything.

I have 2 L5 kicker 12 subs the solo-barics 2 jbl powervalve amps 360 for my highs and 1200 watts for my lows and it will knock the boogers out your nose it hits so hard and i paid less than 600 bucks.I did my own installation and built my box. you can get top notch car audio on the web you just have to look for a while it's so many stores.
