Guys and gals,

Don't flame me too hard for this suggestion, but for those of you who have decided to "bond" with your cars, please do your car a huge favour and do a few things:

1) Read the manual that came with the car. It has all fluid levels, spark plug models etc, and general service timetable.
2) Buy, borrow or steal the "Helms" Service Manual for you year and model.
3) Go take a intro to mechanics, cars whatever - course at a local college/high school.

You'll follow help from other members more easily, since you will understand what they are talking about.
You won't be throwing parts and $$$ at your car continually.
But most importantly, you'll know (at least get an idea) if someone is trying to "snow" you with unreasonable repairs.

Easy with that flame thrower...now let the flames begin!!! :D

Just my 2 cents.

or you can do it by trial and error... like it i did. but it's going to cost you.. haha. when i had my first car, i didn't even know what a clutch was. Since then, i've changed about 5 of em. It's always good to know about your car so you won't get ripped.
