Hey guys,
I respect the debates, it is what helps things go, plus opens our eyes for other things not foreseen.

I know this project will take some cash, and beleive me, I am not trying to half-azz do anything, so Chris, I read your pale face expression thing, but we are going to do it right the first time, as far as finished product goes. Why? Well, as Fut says, do it right the first time and save tears and suffering....well, something like that...Fut, back me up here bro.

It is good to see we all getting along....we all need to work together...this is about making power, making it good and making it effectively. My car will be a project all next year.....6 speed swap, blower, and lots of R and D. Hopefully we will have it dyno'd by August with a slip saying 325.4hp and 289 lb ft tq

We shall see

NSX Engine...

Ya my opinion is pretty much the same on the NSX motor.... but as much as i feel it would take too much money/time and the rewards would not make it worth.... I swear to you i still have wet dreams about it... Like 2 nights ago i imagined i was cruising down mill ave(road by ASU) in it and smoked an NSX .... hehe :D ..

I dunno... i wanna do it.. i think it can be done... just need the right resources... maybe...

Since I'm in the argumanet mode. Just kidding, I'm actually calmed down and in the discussion mode now;) Anyway, I take both side on this one. I'm on Sneeks side believe it or not, and also on the other side of the camp, but only depending on where I stand on getting forced induction for the Legend.
So, here it is. If, I was the person, or among the group of people trying to get the SC developed for my car or for a few of us, I definately buy into the "Getting it done well enough to run" theory by Sneek. That would definately be the first stage of many, and you have to start somewhere. As an early adoptor of this project (Note, I'm not really one but using the term for discussion only) I would feel the risk is worth the reward. I would be able to get the hardware done and most of the hard part done, then fine tune as needed until a nearly perfect product is realized. I believe nothing is 100% relaible. However, if I am simply on the consumer side of this SC deal, then I very much want a product that is a final version and needs no futher major R&D aside from specific tuning for personal driving habbits and climate. That said, the product better not be brought to market as a 80% working unit that mostly works, but better be a consumer grade product that has acceptable risks, but also acceptable reliability.

So, my opinion on a major product like this is if you are doing it for yourself, then use whatever works for you. If you are producing a product like this with the intent of selling it to the Legend community on the market, than you better have a reliable working product that is a at least near a final version. Sure, as technology moves forward better products can be introduced in later versions, but that is not really the argument here right?

i would definitly be interested in this. i have been looking for someone here in KC to build me one. this would save me a lot of hassle.

i've let go of the supercharger dream:werd: Leon's got Diamond now(sorry if its spelled incorrectly:(), Dv8 is still not fully recovered from the Headers project, Takemorepills/SNEEK-E's time has been impaled by an auto-manual transmission swap at the time being, and many of the willing members with the tools and know-how have migrated to automobiles made by Toyota or BMW. Basically..if you have a G2...you are on your own for F/I....for a little while;)

I would love to see a SC for are G2's but i know deep down its a pipe dream ... Even though i like to think its not and still keep my hopes ... I would also love to see the headers get done ... Which i think is a more feasible project at the current time ... Ohh well we should all know by now how the world works ... MONEY TALKS ! :(

Well, I am wrapped up in my tranny swap. But, I am always working on my friend's Prelude. We have done the S/C on that, and we swapped the S/C in favor of a turbo system. I am just taking it all in, I am trying to became well learned on this. If you knew how much money I blow on my car, a S/C for my car is either a matter of time or I will buy a more tuneable car. Probably the latter.

Whenever somebody jumps out and says "I am supercharging my car, it will be ready so soon, I am so awesome" that thread should be deleted. The thread starter of this thread obviously failed to come thru.
