what type of sealant is used on our taillights mine is leaking after I opened it several times and need to add sealant.

:werd: it's PU plastic based and not silcone. Works better in applications involving rubber/soft plastics. My local Nissan dealer had it in stock.

what about a cheaper alternative I do not plan on opening these again so i dont need one that will be resealable would any of these work??
