my temp gauge has read at the most a little over the middle at the hottest time of the day. is that anything to worry about. it's about in between the middle mark and the next mark up.

Mine always reads at a little below the middle, and i live in OK

i was always wondering what the temp reading was at different level of the temp gauge.

like in the middle theres a line above the middle point and a line below the middle point.

what is the temp difference?

just curious.

The temp gauge shouldn't be reaching mid point at normal condition. Check to see if your radiation fan is kicking on or not, because when my the relay for my radiation fan goes out, the temp of my car is at mid point.
