Most electrical items are hard to return after you have opened them. So before I got out and buy a rear defogger relay, is there a way to test them items? Can you open up these little things?

To test defog relay: Remove relay, put 12 volts across pins C & D. This should close the contacts(hear it click) and you should have continuity across pins A & B.
