Has anyone had this indicator change color on them? Mine has gone for a greenish yellow to an orange/red look....If you had this problem what was the problem that needed repairing?

The indicatror is tied to your odometer and will change at each 7500 mile interval between resets. It is used as a reminder for you to perform the indicated service schedules. If your services are up to date, you can go ahead and reset it by inserting a key into the adjacent slot and it will return to green.
So in other words I have to go to the dealer to get robbed......Ok Thanks

No, it means you simply ignore it and reset it if your car has already had its major maitenance done, or if you don't wish to do it at this time. Like Guy said, it is connected to the odometer just like the trip meter is connected to the odometer, only instead of numbers on the wheel there is a green/yellow/red sticker on the wheel that you see change colors as the mileage goes up. You reset if back to zero, or green in this case just like the trip meter. If you happen to reset that indicator every day, then it will never turn orange and stay green. It is simply a reminder so you about how many miles you traveled since you last reset the meter. Usually people reset their meters after they get a service done, and usually the Acura recomended service is at 7,500 miles, so in this case, since the meter will turn to red at about 7,500 miles, it can be a good reminder to get a service done. Provided the meter was reset at the proper time.

By maintenance, you guys are referring to checking spark plugs, engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, timing belt and that sort of thing right? Is there a list in our car manuals that go thru what we need to do every 7500miles? thanks.

Yes, those trivia things. The list is found in the owners manual.

just stick u'r key inside the the hole under the indicator and push. it'll turn green, problem solved. =)
hehe, seriously though if you maintain u'r car (oil change, checking fluids, belts, etc) you should be fine with doing that.
