Has any one heard from DV8 lately? I am ready to get these done soon. The turbo came in and should be up soon. I hope to have the headers done before the turbo. I need these in 2 weeks if any one can find more. Ebay still have those?
Please help!
Thanks Kyle
Some one post their whole email address so we can post some pics of my turbo. Its a pretty one.

Is that intercooler on the shelf there the one you are going to use?

OK man, so you went to the local performance shop and posed with the merchandise. Now, where are you going to put that monster turbo?? What kind of turbo is that?? A Turbonetics T60??

Shouldn't we try to use a smaller turbo with quicker spool time? Isn't the whole point of this turbo thing to get the low end torque we need to get the cars rolling? Getting a larger laggier turbo would just defeat the whole purpose of the project would it not?

I'm probably not making any sense..

I'll be quiet now...:)

You are kind of on the right track. The 3.2 can support a turbo that big, but because it is big, it can't really fit near the engine. Turbos actually work mostly from ex heat. So, as the turbo is moved away from the motor, the ex temp drops, and so does the effectiveness of the turbine. 1 big turbo or 2 smaller turbos, either way, there really is not any room NEAR the motor for a truly effective setup.

Hey guys, you like the turbo. It is my custom T4. Looks big ehh! Yes, that is my intercooler in the back ground. Every one I have talked to said that it is a little big but just about right. We will see. Where is Dv8? I can't do any thing until I have those manifolds. You can doubt me once again that this is my turbo or you can call Joule yourself and ask them at 719-460-4233. Sorry, just getting impatient with the doubts. I believe that it will be placed where our stock intake would usually be. We might move some stuff but nothing major. I got the turbo bigger because we want big gains right. When this is done whoever can get bigger or smaller turbos for their own car. I want alot of power so this was my choice.

Hope you guys enjoyed it. Soon the custom console will be done and more will be for sale.
Thanks as always. If anyone hears from DV8 tell him to hit me up! Kyle

Bing! Hit the nail on the head... the turbo looks like the A/R's a little large, but a 60-1 or just a T60 would be fine for the 3.2... What is your A/R? It looks like it's a .81 or larger - am I right on this? If I were you, I'd stick with the 60 wheel, and be sure to get a BB cartridge with a smaller A/R, that's just me.

For comparison: I run a PTE67 on my car, with a .68 A/R for great spool, yet enough top end power to support 650-750RWHP... right up my alley. I'd conisder a smaller A/R if you're running anything over that .81, like I said before.

Hope it works out for ya!

Hopefully he is working on something new. Whenever he is gone for a long period of time he comes back with something cool... so lets cross our fingers.

It is a T4. Custom built- the exhaust is slightly smaller than a standard T4. It is said that it can support 550hp. Where is DV8? Does anyone else want to sell manifolds for this project?
Thanks Kyle
Is it a true T4 flange? What is the A/R...?
