as of right now, his setup is basically worthless for a kit. no manifolds, obvious turbo lag, bad placement for a lot of the piping, and no apparant gains for how much he spent on it.

now once he gets some tuning down, and once he gets manifolds made, i would only assume the performance gains are much better, but until then. I think you wasted your money to be the first

every turbo system is going to have lag(this has less than some i have seen), and for a starting kit like that, yeah, it needs tuning, but what kit wouldnt. especially for lower altitudes. He really couldnt control any way joule tried to screw him, which they did. with manifolds, it will be a much better kit.

Mad props to Kyle for pulling this off, spending the time and money to turbo his Legend. Live it is! What info do you want? I am in the mid. of doing a new project, but currently low on funds. I am shooting for a bolt on system with less lag and higher gains. Nice ride btw....it does need some boost though!

kyle, it though they weren't gonna make it a kit, but a one time only deal. Do you mean to say your gonna retry another turbo setup after your done with the headers?

Yea, I am still debating that, but I am pretty sure I make a dif setup when I have a spare ride or summer rolls around. It should yeild roughly the same gains, but get full boost alot sooner. The .5 bar is going in Fri. night and the avcr will be hooked up finally! Get ready for higher gains fellas!

My buddy that owns that mustang shop found some stock manifolds that are a much better design- I will see what I can do with those and let you guys know.

Still trying to get the AVCR installed-I have been really busy w/ everything else as well! That mustang shop has a tig welder so I may try to use that and get r done! Not any progress for the last 2 weeks......studing for the series 7 test if you know what I mean. After I pass I will have more time.

I almost have the firebird running so I can send the Acura into my friends shop to be redone and possibly have a kit by the time it is done! I am not saying for sure, but the setup will be redone and the old one put up for sale here or ebay. I will hapefully have pics and everything!
