how can you be part of a car scene if you cant drive the cars.

anyway, please start typing slower, or type your response in Word before posting here, so that you can spell/grammar check it.

please, for everyones sake, learn how to type in ENGLISH.

1. He is 20, not exactly an old ass.
2. he has done more to produce legend performance equipment than you ever will.
3. Telling someone to kill themself is not tolerated on this forum and you should be banned.

okay - cut it out. ws didn't come on here slamming anyone, so just leave him alone. We're here to help eachother, not to judge, mock, or insult.... This forum won't survive if everyone leaves pissed off at one another.

If you're remarks aren't about the subject posted, then keep them to yourself.

if you honestly have nothing good to say about this thread your opinion isnt needed
1. do the forum a favor by keeping pointless opinions about people to yourself to save bandwidth
2. i dont care if someone produced the parts to create the fastest, the best legend in the world, there is NO reason why people should be insulted on here.
3. this isnt an english class forum, wanna teach english? then go teach it at school
4. like i have said before, seems as if though senior members are having a bit of a fit with everything lately, cut the crap and go on with your day without the negative comments

All in all grow up everyone, this isnt high school. If you cant respect other members dont expect the same back. jesus, this forum is going to crap, hopefully things will go back to normal eventually. if anyone should be banned it should be both of them...theres no need for any element of this on here

so, I should have to suffer and read someones post three or four times just to try and see what the hell they mean by it? It is not hard to type complete words. If you dont know how something is spelled. www.dictionary.com is a GREAT tool. Hell even google will tell you if you mispell something you search for.

The bandwidth issue is not a good arguing point. Not only does ONE post of text only a few KB of storage space/bandwidth, but if you are going to try and argue about people making worthless posts, start limiting the size of peoples signatures. The moderators, and supermoderators should actually do their job when someone has an 800x600 picture in their signature, and then they post multiple times on the same page. What do you think that does for 56kers?

I dont care if you want twelve bottles of nitrous in your car, but 95% of everything people ask nowadays has already been talked about, or can easily be answered in a PM or two.

I am not a senior member, but I have been around long enough to know how act, who to talk to, and what not to talk about. The administrating bodies of this forum dont do any work except changing the styles and colors. Start reading peoples posts, limiting signatures, and doing something good with your moderating powers. Instead of just threatening people.

Rear mounted Turbo

Ranger Joe seems like a very smart feller. I truly enjoy the start to his website & will look forward to that taking off!! :p I hope he takes the time to look at my 2nd gen thread on vibration ~NOT THE AXLES~
Anyway I was hoping to find a turbo kit that someone knew about for the Legend but as USUAL there seems to be little available for US
Also I wanted to mention the Rear mounted Turbo. Has anyone else seen the Great idea that is surfacing slowly? I have pics of it on a newer camaro where there is absolutely NO room for one under the hood. It's a great concept in my oppinion! No intercooler needed due to the pipe being ran under the car back up to the intake, and no muffler needed due to the back pressure created from the turbo back there... Heck talk about a cold air intake :p !!! All ya need is to build a monster air scoop back there for your custom Ram air system... I wonder if there is room to run the pipeback up front under the uni~body?

I hate to say this, but SEARCH. Jesus christ! You also need to learn about cars before posting on here or people will seriously own you.

the rear mounted turbo setup is the worst idea ever, especially for a small engined car.

no, contrary to popular belief, all of us here have absolutely no problem helping out someone who asks a question...its the people who post in threads not knowing what the hell they're talking about that pisses everyone off. Newbies that ask questions are one thing...newbies that express facts as if they know what they're talking about is completely diff.

If people would take the time and actually LOOK at the info that is already given to you here (tons of stickied threads with useful info) and learn before you say something (there is the SEARCH button...with lots of great info there :)), nobody would have any problems at all...

This is the most useful comment I've seen in the last 3 pages. Please take heed. Some of you guys are so smart and respectable~ yet at the same time so STUBBORN and narrow minded. Please Please Let it go. I don't want to see these forums go to crap from all the hating. Live and let live & learn. Remember you had to start somewhere too. And noobs... You will learn nothing here from being arrogant and defensive.

wow dude i can't believe u are selling the kit, i know it has problems, but jeez all that money spent... spend a little more and get it done right ;) , so in a year or two i can get a true turbo kit for the legend :)

Rear mounted turbos are a terrible idea because:

Turbines rely on good exhaust flow into the housings (which is why they make equal length manifolds, ported turbine housings, etc). Using a rear mounted turbo requires a crappy designed manifold where you will lose exhaust energy throughout the rest of the manifold when you should be using it to spin a turbine.

Intercooler piping is goin to be atrocious. You need to keep overall charge pipe and volume to a minimum because a higher volume will effect your lag time. A rear mounted turbo requires lots and lots of piping.

My best option for FI on the legend would be either a roots type blower or nitrous. Mounting a turbocharger is just not economically feasible in some cars. Even if its accomplished, the performance gained per unit cost is best attained in other methods.

Find me an fabricator, I will put the cash out for my car, you can see what happens to it. I got a freshly conditioned motor to deal punishment to. Just point me in the direction, and I will show vid and Dyno sheets. Cost not important. Looking for twins though.
