Find me an fabricator, I will put the cash out for my car, you can see what happens to it. I got a freshly conditioned motor to deal punishment to. Just point me in the direction, and I will show vid and Dyno sheets. Cost not important. Looking for twins though.

Pretty much any reputable shop will be able to do custom work. It's just a matter of how much it will cost. How much do you have to work with?

well I have 10k right now, I know that any shop will but I live in Davenport Ia. Nobody around here will do it for a decent price. They think anything with the word "fabricate" is worth a jessie james price you know.

That's stupid.

Go polish your car some more, and attend some Hot Import Nightz shows, and others will be laughing at all of you who are in the "Import LYFESTYLE"...

Whatever. If you honestly think that the "Import Scene" is all about your paint and bodykit - that's silly as hell. If you want a schoolin', I'll take you back to when it really started... Mazda RX3's, 7's, and Toyota Celica GT's, Datsun 510's and 240Z's, when all the owners cared about was speed, precision, and painstaking work - not bodykits and the "show scene", stupid Import Magazines, CLOTHING (are they kidding?), and all that junk. Hell, even rap artists are cashing in on YOUR car scene... one in which I'm proud that I'm not a part of, at all. Why do you think that I have "I hate your import lifestyle" in my signature...?

I'm glad to say that my roots are in domestics, after reading this "Import Scene" bulls*it.

10,000 and you can't find a shop near you to do the work for less then that? You have got to be kidding me. You don't need the shop to do EVERYTHING.

for the whole project, thats the max i can use. I can do most everything except tuning, and fine details like that, but I can't find anyone who will Fab anything for under 5k (reverse flow Manifolds)

I would give some thought to fabing a twin system for less than 5k, but not much.......how serious are you? List some specs that you would want, and I will look for options because I have some plans for the future.

When I find a fabricator is when the ball rolls. its my daily so I don't wanna go tearing into it until I have a time line set up you know.. I don't want to run much more than 12 lbs for a while until I can make sure the motor can deal with the punishment. Engine blows, thats a costly error, and an annoying one too. I have to get a system to run custom mapping at the click of a button. I am going with a generic t4 setup because there are so many turbo options with the 4. That's what the legend's lack right now, is options. I am hoping to get blueprints out of the deal so I can GIVE them to people on this site so we can show what the 2nd gens got. There is a lot of potential there and i am tapping into it soon. As soon as I stop pinching pennies on the FAB. As for HP i don't know, it an experiment

k... I bought a new typeII from Jap. an it's on its way. Right along with it are the sought after REVERSE FLOW TURBO EXAUST MANIFOLDS!!! I AM SO STOKED TO GET THE OLD ENGINE OUTTA THERE! SOON FELLAS SOON!!!! AH, one more thing... it only cost 6100 w/o shipping for the whole package. The guy I bought it from made a deal with me on the manifold fab cause I bought the engine for retail from him. New engine, and a set of power makers... :werd:

I hope you have some proof of all of this. There are only two people on these boards we all trust as far as part fabrication etc. goes. I know you are new but you will start getting flamed for making claims without some sort of proof to back it up.

And I'll laugh when you spend 5k and only put 200 to the wheels due to tuning problems. You either are TypeRkon, or are related to him I swear.

We get someone claiming they are going to build a turbo car about once a month. They dont do , people laugh at them, they leave with no results. Its quite funny. We can help you with some of the hard part(finding a way to tune it, etc). But until you actually show something, you are just another dumbass who is all talk.

How are you planning to run fuel/timing for this?? standalone? or are you going to try and piggy back it.

There was a supercharged car built, that didnt get more than 200 hp, because once he got over 6 psi, the engine shut off. Check engine light, and it shut down. Good luck. Some of us have figured out how to overcome that.

When you have been on our end, and seen 100 people talk with nothing to back it up, it makes it real hard to believe a new guy who shows up and claims he is building something. Personally, i hope you are, and i hope you succeed, and am willing to help you if you need it, but i have seen no proof yet.

I wish him luck - it'd be really cool... but people need to realize, that even if someone does it (someone has), and then this guy replicates it, with a better design, there will NEVER be an aftermarket turbo kit that's an off-the-shelf deal for the Legend, in which you can buy it and just put it on from some retailer.
