Just how bad do you want these headers?

yeah you guys have to do som evid clips for sure... not everyone will be able to make it to the meet... hahhaha well i can't i mean!

plus this will prob help you boost sales for the kit... i know... if i had numbers and stuff i would be able to sell it to a few ppl...

PS Kyle this will fit in a coupe without a problem right? there is no modding anything right... like even little cuts or anything? just wondering

I have numbers.....257whp and 262ft lbs!!! The other thing is that I have to find out what psi I am running. You guys will have to see the curve! Either way it spools faster and it does feel considerably quicker. I think it will fit the coupe but I am still not 100% sure of the differences between the Cp and Sdn. The kit does involve a cut where the airbox goes, but that can be cleaned up for a show car. :2cool: We could make a sleeve that goes over the cuts. Billy meet me up there so he has the sheets, but I will throw those on the Labrat website.

That is a original type I with an auto tranny and 155K miles!!!!
I am currently running a open 3in. pipe...then when all is fully completed I will have a 3 inch all the way back.
Now to test the new pully!

Your numbers are impressive.

Any updates on the power steering pulley?
I suspect that the two working together (crank+p.s.) will yield the biggest gain.

this is some bomb stuff here... love the numbers.... but yes! i need to know the psi now too... hahhahha.... because we all know if yoru boosting to high on a non-turbo motor... it tends to go kA BOOM!!! hahhahha..... i am guessing you are running around 5-6 psi.. just guessing... ahhahahhha

do you have a boost controller? cause i thought that would "control your boost" there fore telling you how much you are boosting? hahahhha just wondering... and thanks for trying to help me out with the show thing...

i need all the help i can get in the engine deptment... i want it clean with TURBO!!! hahhaah

rebuild with LevelTen if you can, if you want to do a manual swap, you're going to be hurting. it's not easy like a number of other hondas...the bulkheads and floorpans are different. good luck regardless...

i'd just rebuild the auto (i did).

6 spd has a dual mass flywheel for a reason, you can damage the box with a 5 spd flywheel. the dual mass was added to couteract the added cog. going on the design of the 6 spd versus the 5 spd the dual mass is there for added longevity of the box.

i wouldn't say they're impressive numbers. but they are very good start.

one thing i wouldn't do is slow the power steering too far below operating speeds. The way the speed senstive system is designed, we outrun the powersteering WAAYYY too fast. if you slow the pump down, you'll just out run it faster. especially at low engine speeds.

Dont get sucked in to that shift kit. You will have a hard time finding someone to install, and if you do they wont warranty it. I know because i bought that entire package and lost hundreds of dollars reselling it. It's better to have level 10 do the tranny for you from the start. the cost skyrockets but its worth it from what i hear. the TQ converter is great but it will kill a stock trans. Also if you plan on auto x ing with an auto be advised as it s gonna suck balls.

Yea, I looked into having my tranny guy see what he thinks. I gave him Sams number to see what they could work out. I have yet to hear back from the guy doing my tranny. I am not sure if I will need much higher stall speed than that...unless I get slicks and an LSD. The turbo starts to spool 2k+ RPMS. I think that I will end up needing that shift kit so if my shop cant do it I will have level 10 do it. Anyhow...this is kind of exciting to get this all completed or close.

Should I just build a LSD while I am at it? Some one here does that right?
