Are you just NOW putting on the ESM or have you switched ESM's. Which one are you using?

Why only 5.8psi?

Kyle I had my email account deleted and all of my messages with it. I still have the same address but I lost your email for a while and haven't gotten any updates from you. I was supposed to get a kit from you, but what happened? I have already needed to use some of my money for something else now, but I may be able to still scrape some up. Is everything still possibly good to go, what's up man?
Yea, updates are done with now that everyone wanted to see what was happening with the kit. As for the kits I am trying to find my friend or someone else to make the kits for us. I am still working out the kinks myself in the mean time. We will see if I can get this to take off to production but for now things are getting worked out.
Sorry for the lack luster reply but I had a strange feeling it would go this way.
Thanks, Kyle

I had lost the instructions so yes this was just now getting done. I am using the ESM from Comptec. Only 5.8psi because I didnt want to break more parts than I already did(tranny was enough to make me a poor man). I will do the 7.2psi again in the future so dont worry.
Later, Kyle

Hey Guys,

Installed the ESM and for the most part the install went smooth. However, I am still wondering why I am seeing a check engine light. At first the light did not appear even in boost. Later it did but I dont know if a wire fell loose or what happened. maybe the engine entered open loop and the reading was still off. Any ideas from you guys?
The help is appreciated!
KTW
What code was it? If it's a MAP sensor code I'd recheck your wiring connections.

It's fine Kyle. No matter what happens with all of this I'm happy that at least someone has a working turbo Legend.
No kidding, man...
You are a Legend hero.

late!
you've got that right, i've never been so excited to put myself in such financial debt! haha. Kyle, do you ever plan on going anywhere past 7.2 psi with your current set-up? keep up the good work, you're the man....

Thanks guys. I do plan to continue with this project, and to push the limits of our car. I will probably attempt 10psi with alky injection later this summer. That should easliy put me in the 300 area for numbers. We all know who these goals go though. Beyond that I am thinking of doing a build up rather than have to buy a whole new engine and tear it down again. With nearly double the power I am sure many things will have a toll taken on them. We also have to see if that tq converter gives more play the more power I throw at it anyhow.
Thanks for the support and encouragement.

Did you leave it at the stock Honda/Acura voltage or did you have to adjust it?

Yes, and it is reading 2.94V on the DVOM. That is what is recommended according to the instructions. I checked the codes and they are a 3 and 5 so that indicates it is the MAP sesnor. The car runs fine anyhow. I guess I can adjust the reading but I wouldnt know which way to go. I really dont understand what V the car needs to see to run w/out the light being on. I am going to look around at NSX and other honda/acura forums to see what I can do. Everything is hooked up correctly as well.
Thx, Kyle

If I find out first I'll let you know. NSX forum should be a good place to find out.

I thought so also since the ECUs are simuliar. I did use the same wiring diagram as the first gen NSX but there was one difference in a wire color though. That was the sensor wire according to my knowledge. I also contacted a local guy that is supposed to know hondas/acuras but we will see.
I really appreciate the help!
Thanks again!
Kyle

Off the site:
2.84v for Accord V6, CL-S, TL-S
2.93v for NSX, S2000, 03 CL-S Type S

It's funny that you still get CEL. I guess the Leg is just that different. The wiring was simple enough. The proper way to have it set is increase the voltage to the max. without the ECU going into default so you could try turning it up slightly and see what happens. For Honda/Acura the voltage is normally what I posted above maybe the Leg needs a little more. The ESM does go to 3.4v.

I will try that...maybe some R and D later this weekend. I am just worried I am going to fry something if I dont know what I am doing. I will try it and update you guys on the progress.
Thanks!
Kyle

Won't fry anything, it'll just put the ECU in default if you turn it up too much.
I forgot to ask if your CEL is constant or just under boost.

Well, the way I would explain it is that the CEL goes on under boost after the engine is in boost and warmed up and in open loop. When it is cold and in closed loop there is no CEL. Once it goes on it stays on until I turn the car off then on again.
Cheers, KTW
