Tom. 6-10-2004 4pm I have dyno time if anyone cares to go to parker. Let me know if you need the add. Prepared to be supprised by the low numbers.

The address is for Parker

6268 E. Pinelane

Where parker rd. and pinelane intersect. It is by or behind a Midas and Microtell. I am taking83 north to Parker Road, and he said I should be able to find it. 83 turns to parker rd. I guess.
I think it is called Mike's performance shop.
If you have any problems call my cel @ 719-360-6174.

See you there at our mini meet in the 303. :)

When 83 goes through Parker you'll know it, it starts to turn into a real town and a real road, it should be six lanes by the time you actually get into Parker. Pine Lane is going to be a couple lights after the new Ford dealership in Parker. His shop is on the right if you're coming from the south, I think.

From Arvada, you want to take the Lincoln exit off I-25(south of C-470) and head east. then you take a left at Parker road and it's only a couple blocks from there.

The exhaust was done before by a different shop. The car goes in on the 16th. The 3 inch is prep for the turbo.

See you there Billy.

Man, it has to be loud as he77. I have 3" on my Teg in prep for my turbo, and it is driving myself and everyone within 1 mile radius of my car nuts.....

Kyle, could you please elaborate on how that shop plans on locating the turbo?? Since I have some super small 14B turbo's laying around, I have been contemplating going TT on my spare Legend motor. But, because I can't seem to find a good location for the turbo's, that extra TT Legend motor may end up in a sandrail :D Basically, I have figured that if I can squeeze a small 14B on each side of the motor, there will not be enough room to service those turbos. I will need to pull the motor anytime the turbo(s) need work. Putting the turbo(s) ahead of the motor, under the hood means snaking two exhaust pipes for 1 turbo or 4 exh pipes for TT around the front subframe and front motor mount beam...all situations that put super hot exh pipes tooo close to belts, accessories (actually, I don't think it will even squeeze by the AC or alt) or toooo close to the ground if you go under all that stuff. Maybe if you fabricated a different front support beam and way to mount the front of the motor you could free up some room. And lastly, putting the turbo under the tranny is no good either. The KA9 that did that had ground clearance issues, and spool time issues. The last 2 options both put the turbos too far away from the engine.

Ask your turbo guys what they plan to do, I am very interested. I am out of the country now, so all my idle thought revolves around my 2 cars

ok so i just got back from seeing Kyle dyno his legend, he is a great guy. i know that he is not b.s.ing about headers and turbo for his legend

Sorry, forgot you asked. It (1 T4) will be place where the stock intake box was. I could have the shop do a tt setup if this works and you could send me those two turbos.

Kyle
:eek2: daaaaaaannngggg, your turbo is in a different zip code that your motor

Why do you say that? We talked to the experts and that is what they recommended. T4OE will spool just fine there.

Kyle :2cool:
Man, I hope it works. I have the same turbo as you, I think. I have a T3/TO4E, so it is made to spool good in situations of low displacement. or maybe even being far away from the motor. The small turbine and large compressor of this turbo is ideal for setups that want a high boost/exhaust energy ratio. You are definitely going to want to have those turbo manifolds wrapped. You want to keep the heat and exh velocity as high as possible seeing as how the turbo is sooo far away. Yikes....
