The other thread was not very active so this is a new one to get more response. Headers can be done with dyno or track results.
The cost will be apx.$500-10people or less, $400 or less for 20 people and more than that maybe 300 ish. No promises yet, but if some one can save me the time and money of driving to Denver for exhaust manifolds I will cut the cost of your headers. DV8- you have first dibs. I know you have the precious. PM me for my address. I could use my car as the labrat but I would rather have it running for the time being.

thanks guys for your support!
kyle :)

Post below on how definite you are on buying so we can get the best rates. I need to give this man the bus. for his hookup!

The mechanical setup is almost done on the turbo! Every thing is done except for the intercooler to turbo pipe, but hopefull that was done today! :D The turbo is mounted and it is infront of the engine to the lower left side. It looks pretty bad A$$ so far although it is kinda close to meltable plastics and vacumm hoses. I will post pics later this week if some one wouldnt mind if I sent pics to them through email. Should be done very soon!

Peace Kyle

Pics were sent to SmartJay. Thanks in advance for posting them- I found out that he is going to paint all pipes the put them back on. He believes it should be up and running next week. The progress looks good so far. Let me know your thoughts. Billy, the will be about 350 with a new y pipe. Scott said that we could just remove the ex. manifold then bring it down here instead of the whole car if that would be easier.

Thanks Again
Kyle

Yes, it is cramped. All hoses will be relocated and rerouted. The pipes will also be wrapped with heat insulation tape. I will start with 5.8 psi then 8 and may be 12. We will see about the streetability of the car with each setting before moving up. I am most concerned with the headgasket issue and 144k on the engine. We are expecting 70-80 fwhp gain up here. Do you guys likey?

Thanks Kyle

OK Kyle, now you've got our attention. You should have waited to say anything if you want my opinion. We all called BS, and you made us look stupid. Good job! That's what we want.

Now, the real questions iiiiiiiis, are they going to make a pre-fab kit? My coupe will be in Colorado next winter getting the exact same thing done if there isn't a kit made.

Once again, good job on getting a shop to tackle the job. It looks like they're doing a very decent job, just hope to god they can make the car run correctly.

I dont care about making a big entrance like some people. I just want to help the community out and strike some fear into people who see these cars. i should be able to make the kit-the plans are started already. I got a go we have a rain emergency...

Peace until later

how much boost is/are he/you pushin?
cuz i went to a custom shop, and they told me that w/ stock internals i wont be able to boost much. and also, that it shouldnt be a daily drivin car.
Yeah most people think that, but the Stock engine is 9.6 to one..most engine builders get 9.0-9.5 compression pistons. from what i have heard the stock honda pistons are strong. Along with the build of this engine...i dont see why 8-10 PSI on a street driven C32 would be a problem. But you know...we'll find out in a short time now :):D

good show Labrat:D

I want to hump that engine bay! If they sell them I will get one. I wanna see this running asap!

PS, can we get some good shots of the turbo manifolds?

Also, How much has all this cost you? If you dyno it get a vid of the session and a shot of the screen on camera just in case anyone still isnt convinced. I want this done NOW :p

You guys make me want to juice the goose! I want this done ASAP! My waste gate is rated at 5.8 psi but if I run 5-10k miles without problems then I will release the kit and turn the boost up to 8psi. We should be able to run 8 easily enough- that olds alero has the same comp. ratio as us and he ran 12psi w/ N2O. He spun the tires on the dyno! Not the same engine - just the same principle.....but it makes you think! So far......
100. flanges
798. t4oe turbo
300. intercooler
300. apexi gauges and blitz turbo timer-a great deal
1700. labor
458. waste gate and blow off valve
an fmu is also on the list
thats it soo far

 i dunno what to say, amazing to see pics. im not sure how long forced induction has been discussed and bs running back and forth but i bow bown to you  you're definately contributing a lot to this community that may have not yet to this day had faith in a project like this without you. hopefully a fully functional kit will be ready soon. i wanna make love to my car as much as i did to the pics posted on here.

hey buddy, i would suggest that you look at a different radiator, that one is not going to be efficient with that much heat right behind it. even heat wrapped, its still going to kill your efficiency. i know a guy with a turbo civic who is dealing with that problem right now. i would look into a smaller radiator or maybe two smaller ones to put spread apart to leave a gap in the middle. just an idea, you are going to have to deal with that to keep it running.

Congratulations on the turbo setup. It's unbelievable! I hope everything goes well with this install. I will definately buy the kit when it's out asap. You have inspired me to jump back on this project. Funds are all there. I just had one question. How do you plan on running the downpipe, and what size would the piping be? Thanks!

I am curious about the turbo manifold/exhaust manifold. Is the turbo getting the exhaust from one side of the engine or is there another turbo on the other side or is there two pipes running around and entering into the turbo? I am amazed. Good job bro. If this works out I can finally jump on the band wagon with my friends and all their turboed cars.
