Oh such kind words it is I who thanks you!

Buying a spare ECU this friday for the sole purpose of getting this done... Just wondering how easy it is to install and if I will have any trouble passing emissions inspection etc with this... My car is bone stock as far as performance mods.

Excellent, I am looking forward to getting the ECU hit me up if you have questions you can also look here to see how to remove and re-install the ECU it is plug and play. Let me know when you are ready. It will pass emissions fine.

AWWW MAN I cant WAIT for this CHIp install on my legend I am feening for it

Have you got it set up yet so a "potential buyer" can buy a "chipped" ecu from you 1st.... THAN after buying one from you gets a rebate/partial refund after sending his/her stock ecu back to you? This way no one who buys from you has to go without there car for any length of time. :hide: I've wanted one but cannot go without for that long...:(

I do but in your case there is a rarity issue. The six speed ECU's are a little harder to come by so you would need to find or have me ship you a donor while it was being chipped.

I apologize but I prefer to communicate through PM, the sole reason being is that if I were to give my phone number to and talk to everyone that was interested in the chip I would be spending a great deal of time on the phone talking to people and I am not really one who likes to do this unless trouble shooting either for someone helping me or me helping someone else. And any of the information you would need really is present other than my address, and possibly a few specific questions you may have. I am usually very deligent in getting a response to you via PM, on average in 8-24 hours and nearly instantly if I am online.

How much will it affect driveability? (Gas mileage, shift points, do we need high octane) Also can the ecu be converted back to stock once I get this? (I may sell the car and might want to put everything back to stock)

Thanks.

I believe all of these questions are answered in this thread but I will answer them for you.

How much will it affect driveability?
Only in terms of making it more fun to drive it makes the car more responsive, gas mileage varies depending on your car and mods, shift points are improved and shift range while in 1st and 3rd gear are increased

Do I need to use high octane fuel?
I would never recommend less than prmium, even if you don't have the chip

Can the ecu be converted back to stock once I get this?
The ECU is returned with both the stock chip and the Telion chip, so yes but with an added selling point.

Thank you for your interest in the Telion chip

Sorry I didn't read through the thread. So is this chip something I can install in case I change the chip back to stock? I work at my dad's shop and am inclined in the mechanical field.

yeah what he does, is sockets the ecu. so the current chip is attached to the circuit board... when he sockets it, there will be a holder for the chip and he sends you the stock chip back so when you wanna go back to stock you open the ecu and pop the lever on the chip holder and put your stock chip back.

edit: oh yeah... why you tryna copy my name for? lol

Sweet, I'm looking into this if I can stand my car being down for a few days.

Oh and I'm pissed you got that username, I thought I was creative. :)
