I had wanted a Legend for as long as I could remember. I found a 95 LS in very good shape. The engine smokes a little and the mileage is a little on the high side, but the body and interior is in very good shape. I have order a Type I for it wanted a type II but out of price range. I own an eclipse GST that has a lot of work mods done to it, so the Legend doest need to be fast. But I love it!!!!!! Just wanted to say Hello to everyone. Trying to add a picture but it telling me its to big

Welcome in.. I sold my 2g gsx with the cyclone 6 bolt motor for my legend. Prolly the best move I ever made when it comes to reliability. Im ordering the type 2 from tigerdirect to replace my T1 this weekend and will be posting hella pictures for the install, should be fun!

Thanks, can wait to start fixing her up. Already ordered an engine for it today. Did the sunroof mod, changed the the Bose radio to a working Bose radio. Eveything on the car works! the only problem I was able to find was the drivers side door....If I unlock the car with the key it only opens the drivers door only, but if I use the key on the pass door it will unlock all doors.

im pretty sure its supossed to do that, my car does the same thing. If you want to open all the doors from the drivers side, you have to turn the key all the way to the right, and hold it, and all the doors will unlock.

edit- by the way, I just realized you said it was a LS in the first post, sorry lol

what is this type1 and type 2 thing you guys are talking about
its the different type of engines that came in legends,

Most base and L sedans/coupes are type I engines, meaning they have 200 horsepower, and the type II has 230 HP. There's also a difference in the torque, but I do not remember. A search of this forum would help you get a lot more information on that subject.
