Man Brent you are pretty quick at posting these news. It was my
first time at a meet and I thought it was a pretty good turn out I think we had ten or eleven legends that show up. Brent e-mail me your address so I can send you the pictures that I took.

 

Yup, the turn-out was great. Better than what I've been told about other turn-outs for localized meets. It was good to see those as far south as Fremont, Union City, and Hayward who took the time to drive the 60 miles to Suisan City and it was equally appreciative to see those from Sonoma and Sacramento to come as well!

Thanks to Brent (49er DJ) for being upfront and helping us find a place for everyone to meet. It was an easy find minus the actual street name not posted on the offramp (I found it by seeing a "business district sign).

Yeah, AcuraGuy and I were the only non-Legend owners there, but at least we owned one and can relate to those that are still current Legend owners. I was the only lonely Toyota there, but heck, at least I didn't buy a Domestic (e.g. Jeep ).

It was good to finally match the screen name (nickname) to the face and real name of each poster of this and/or other Legend owner boards. Though, I didn't get a chance to really match everyone, I got a good feel for some of you out there. I know AcuraGuy, wallstrum, BeaverBrad, Dnastyboy1, ILOVELEGEND, 49er DJ, and Nutoy. I couldn't quite match any others, but I didn't ask, so it's my loss. Who are the rest of you?

I hope the one in San Luis Obispo sometime in Mid-August this year will be just as good, with at least double the amount we had today just for NoCal users.

Sure was great meeting those of you that made it to the meet. And Brent i have to admitted that was a pretty cool meeting spot. Right in between the folks from Sac. and the Bay Area guys. Definately looking forward to the Southern Cali meet. By the way someone host the meet picture for me.

I hope your boys weren't too bored with a bunch of us looking at each other's cars and discussing other topics. NUTOY: You know I went to the site, signed in as myself, searched for you, and found 1 public folder. The last updated date was 18 Nov 2002. I couldn't find the pics of the meet. Did you make the folder publically available?

nice rides nutoy i use to have the same ones but in silver. they were 18x8 i got rid of them though. they were to heavy for me. nice set up in the car though i like it

All you guys have great Legends. I think mine was the MOST stock one but what the heck, we all share our love for Legends!!

Hey Denis, your Legend looks really great!! I really like those rims of yours.
Also Wally, your 6 Speed GS is awesome. Those TL wheels look nice!!

 

The meet was a success! I didn't think the turnout would be as great, but I'm glad I was proved wrong. The location was a perfect spot. To see so many legends in one place lets me know that there are still people who appreciate a great car. Thanks to everyone who showed up. Now if I can only get 1tymz to sign off that ticket. (J/K) Hopefully well meet again in August.

The meet went well, I was surprised so many showed up. It was nice to see everyone in person and talk about our cars. I should have some pictures up soon, hopefully. Now I am looking forward to the SLO meet and hopefully I will have rims by then=)

H.A.P. Recycling is a great place to find Legend parts when they have'em. They do have a few Legend cars still there, but most of the parts they got are either not in demand or the pic is out of date and all the parts u can think of they don't got.

 

I called HAP a few hours ago and even though they had Legends there, no mudflaps were to be found.

I also went on copartfinder.com and pulled up about 8 coupes that had flaps on them but calling the 8 junkyards turned up nothing. One place actually had them but claimed they would not sell it without the fender?! I was like WTH!?!

My kingdom for G2 Coupe mudflaps (only need the front flaps, already have the rear flaps)
