I started my car up to go somewhere tonite, it's about 48° here so I let it warm up a lil bit. I get on the to the main road and I realize I forgot something at home so I promptly turn around and go back home. When I get back home I get out of the car and I'm walking to the door and looking back at the car I hear an odd sound. I figured I was just hearing things so I went inside, came back out and as I was walking to the car it was still there.
The sound was kind of awkward. It was kind of a vroom...vroom.. vroom... vroom.... sound. I realized it was my exhaust. I waslk to the back and see my exhaust just SHAKING like I've never seen it before. Instead of having a constant vroom sound when the car is in P, it had sort of a vroom...vrooom...vroom.. The sound was just weird. Like it was hesitating, or as it was desperately gasping for air.
At this point I was a little worried. So I pop the hood and I see my engine SHAKING like crazy. I've never seen my car like this. It was like my engine could just pop out any moment. I couldn't believe how much it was shaking.
SO, not knowing what to do, I get back in the car and as sooon as I sit down, it was like I was on a water rafting rise. My entire car was just shaking left to right. And I don't mean a little vibration, I literally mean SHAKING. I put it in gear and drive around and it seemed to drive fine in D. I come back and its all back to normal.
I don;t know what was going on but it scared me a little. Anyone know what might have been the casue of this? Maybe its a sign of something bad to come.
