Can't say specific to Legend, but I did this years ago on a '78 Accord. I left in whatever the belt ran around [compressor?] so that no mod of belt and routing was needed. No problems -- ran it like that for about 8 months before it blew a head gasket, and I sold it to a mechanic for $200 and a ride home.
well i was driving down the highway the other day and the belt on the AC locked up and smoke started pouring out of my car and i need a new compressor so i was thinking that maybe i should take it out since it diddnt work before anyways, maybe i will get better gas milage with less weight i dont know haha just a thought
