yup i already found it earlier :)

i'm currently sealing the deal with the seller for this. yay :2cool:

edit: also sealing the deal on the power folding mirrors for the coupe, and also the jdm navigation so i can make a custom bezel for the space up top :)

i'm so happy! I've been looking for all of these items! :D :D :D :D
I have purchased things from that seller before. They are pretty up front and trustworthy. I had ordered a set of JDM fenders with the side marker and it arrived damaged. They were able to get me a refund quicky. I am happy to hear that this is working out for you. It was your post that made me post this.
Hey guys, don't make the seller sell these off of eBay. That's not fair -- I have that console bookmarked and I'm ready to bid. I really just need the JDM climate and vents so I can put a carputer up top and a Nakamichi CD700 below.
You guys will have to beat me out for these im ready to lay down some big $$ I have had them "watched" few minutes after they were posted

Just want center console and the navi, I am going to take them and make molds and make copies to sell on here to you guys

already sold to me sorry shaylord! i feel bad! but i already talked to him and the deal is done. he already sold the mirrors tho :( boo hoo :(
Why dont you give it to him on the condition that he make molds? Would be pretty sweet.
wow why bother posting on ebay if he isnt going to go threw with auction ARGH!!!!! guess thats what i get for playing by the rules

its all good tho I contacted them and they r getting a lot of parts in and they are getting another set of theses in a month of 2 and i got dibs, I am also going to be helping this company sell rare items on the forum. And once I get the navi and the center Ill start to work on the molds for these items.
If anybody here buys that JDM center console, youre gonna have to cut the bottom left corner of it to make room for the USDM E-brake handle.

And that navi monitor isnt really worth buying at all, unless you just want a useless 3-4inch LCD screen in the dash for the JDM look. The brain was a seperate unit, and even if you were able to find the brain for it on ebay, its not gonna work in North America anyway since the GPS maps in it were only for Asia.
i know about the ebrake handle. i'm not planning on actually using the nav i need the bezel around the nav.

and what kind of molds are in plans? i'm kinda curious :) are you just planning on making molds of the center console so us people here in the US can fit a blank in there or are you going to actually get them wood laminated and such? i'm pretty curious it sounds real interesting!

the only problem i see with this setup is the vents are missing from the center console. it has the holes, but there are no adjustable vents... wonder where to get those at?
Well my plan is to mold the jdm center and retro fit the USDM back part with the ebrake handle too it so it will be on seemless piece, Custom wood would be very exspensive, probably just to start would be fiber glass or carbon fiber, I am looking into both right now, maybe once made I can send one out to one of the custom shops and have them make them from wood

its good if you wanna build a carputer. it's less moulding work since you already have the basic structure and you can make it look more OEM.
i had a carputer less than a month ago but parted the whole thing out. i still have the double din screen enclosure tho.... don't know what to do with it...
just finding the video inputs of the monitor would be awesome... like on the board inside the unit, then use it as a normal monitor. that would be the ish.... i know that people have done that with the small psone monitors, they hacked them to use as normal video monitors. all you have to do is find the R,G,B, H-sync, and V-sync... theres a few more like ground.. and i dont know what i'll have to do some research, but it is VERY do-able. now, the use of that monitor and the factory nav, you would of course, need the oem brain and gps reciever and as its been said before, if you do in fact get ahold of those parts, it is only useful in japan due to software restrictions!

looks like i have something to research over winter break :)

maybe RL nav/legend nav hybrid? haha yea right! i'm getting my own hopes up! make me stop! lol :giggle:

Well the center console itself would definately be good for a carputer build, if someone here can win that auction and get some more molds made, but the navi screen is ridiculously tiny compared to aftermarket touchscreens (or non-touchscreens) that you can buy. Who cares if it looks OEM (from < 1995) if you can barely see what youre doing. And if you get one of those 7-inch touch screens installed correctly into the console, it looks OEM (im not talking about those $2000 aftermarket Alpine screens either, i mean aprox $4-600 7-inch touchscreen monitors that youd have to mold into the console yourself)
its not the navi system unit i want its the piece around it it opens up and almsot perfect for a touch screen already

i know, i said the console itself would be great for a carputer build, i was just responding to him quoting me about the useless JDM Navi screen lol.
Awesome auction! But cutting that heated seat wood piece is a real pain and its very hard to do nicely. I've tried it before and i gave up. You have to cut a lot off. And I'm not sure if it lines up with the switches in the USDM Legend. But if you can do it then that would be really cool! This will be an awesome project. Let me know if you need any info. :)

the heated seat switches will not line up. this will have to be taken care of also. i'm talking to the guy with the auctions and hes looking to see if he has the entire jdm console. its a tan interior car hes parting out. so i'm asking him to pull the console from the lower dash all the way to the arm rest. then i can have more room to work with it.

btw, where in MO are you? stl i'm going to assume...
