Just want center console and the navi, I am going to take them and make molds and make copies to sell on here to you guys

Well the center console itself would definately be good for a carputer build, if someone here can win that auction and get some more molds made, but the navi screen is ridiculously tiny compared to aftermarket touchscreens (or non-touchscreens) that you can buy. Who cares if it looks OEM (from < 1995) if you can barely see what youre doing. And if you get one of those 7-inch touch screens installed correctly into the console, it looks OEM (im not talking about those $2000 aftermarket Alpine screens either, i mean aprox $4-600 7-inch touchscreen monitors that youd have to mold into the console yourself)

If you take out the navi screen and the bezel around it you could fit a fairly good sized screen there. then just relocate the heater controls into the center console. i would find the screen too low if it was in the centre console but thats just my opinion.

yes the screen is too low in the bottom. i parted out my carputer becuase i got tired of it. the loading time from it turning on to being able to be used wasn't worth it. so i sold it. i'm prob going to get a dvd headunit with seperate screen or something.... i'll play around with it when i get it.

yea, i was just saying using the actual 10 year old screen itself wouldnt be worth it...using the bezel to place a different screen would work great tho lol.

I am getting another set in a few months I am talking to a company right now bout hook ups for the forum threw me to them I am going to go make a post right now about it in new thread
