Maybe you know this:
There are 2 kinds of redline oil - the MTL and MT 90. The MTL is a 75W oil and eventhough it meets the requirements of the 10W oil, it presents faster wearout of the synchros and leads to clutch slippage as well over time.
MT90 is the lesser evil of the two. It is the one that is more suited for our cars.
Of course, if you want another option, then use Acura MTF ( manual transmission fluid). It is not the stock 10W30 engine oil but made for transmission purposes. Its not synthetic but it will keep the gearbox happy.
