I recommend the Best Western Inn and Suites in McDonough Ga.

12 miles to the track, right off the interstate, good restaurants on each side of the hotel, fast food close by. Has real nice rooms and a free continental breakfast. Place is kinda small though so make your reservations early.

I've stayed there the last 2 years. Room rate is $69 and is comparable to all the "Offical" hotels.

Getting from the hotel to the track has always been a piece of cake for me, but I do go early. But you will stack up at the track no matter what time you get there.

you can pay online or go to the local store and do it. YOu will receive a packet with your registration kit...do not delay, or you will pay more later. Your name will show up as time progresses....
