btw i'm on stock suspension...and i've searched and seems like there is a difference in opinion as to whether they rub or not.

There is a differece of opinion because rims and tires themselves are not created equal. A 7.5" wide rim from one manufacturer my be wider over all than a 7.5" rim from another. The tire bead area where the tire mates to the rims are always exact, but the over all width from inner lip to outer lip could be different. I've measured a few of my rims that had the same paper specs but measured a few mm different. Anyway, it is the same with tires. Therefore, you will always get answers that say they rubbed with that combo and otheres that did not have a problem. For me, I had a 17X7 +46 offset with 225/45/17 tires and I did rub sometimes. Your camber can also determine if you rub or not.

very true. damn such a good deal on the rim/tire combo too i hate to pass it up just because of the tire issue grrrr.
