Hi,
I found a legend in Georgia that I'm interested in. But I'm from Minnesota (where the winters can get bad). I'm wondering how the winters are in Georgia. I'm looking for a 100% rust free car and I'm wondering if they use road salt in the winter. I'm assuming they don't, but I just want to double check.

No, we very very VERY rarely use road salt.... the roads almost never freeze.

we get rain, sun and rain 99.8% of the time. Very rare to get salt laid and if so, its only for a day or two tops

Today is suppose to be in the 50's. I have been here for two years, Florida prior to that, so far the worest I have seen is a few hours of freezing rain last week. By the time my Legend hit the road ice was gone and cleared.

I bought my 91 coupe from a guy who brought it up to Chicago from Georgia, and it has 0 rust.

Don't worry about salt on the roads. Get some ice storms in North GA, Atlanta and up, think they use a bit of salt but mostly sand. I'm down here in Savannah area the only way you'd get rust would be to park it on the beach below the high tide mark

When I bought my G2 it was in Atlanta, but later reviews of the car revieled it was from NJ. Still the rust was non-existant.
